My true and my greatest teacher imparted three invaluable lessons that have guided my life. He said:

“Jameel, do what you love, do it with what you have, and do it with excellence.”

Then he said,

“Jameel, the heart choice is the right choice.”

And finally, after our moment of truth, he said,

“Kind people are my kind of people.”

Like my teacher, I am a success story.
